Christmas Time is Here!

We took Tyler to go see Santa for the first time yesterday. He did so well! He even got the courage up to speak to him and tell him what he wanted for Christmas. He told Santa that he wants a Buzz Lightyear Bike. That's what he has been asking for for weeks so lets hope Santa can do it! LOL

Trip to California

Tyler and I flew out to California this past week for my sister, Kelly's baby shower. He hasn't been out there since last Christmas so this was the first time he was out there were he was actually interested in everyone around him. He had lots of fun at his Grammy and Pappy's house, playing with them, playing trains, and playing with their doggie, Sugar. He especially liked hanging out with his Uncle Jason while he was there. He told me that "Jason Cute" and that he was his "best buddy". So adorable.

Since Jason loves the beach so much he was super excited to take him there one afternoon. The weather didn't really cooperate, but that didn't stop them from having fun!

Tyler had lots of fun at his Aunt Kelly's baby shower too. He got to meet lots of new family and had lots of fun playing with his cousin Jacob. They go so dirty playing in the sand, but it was worth it.

It's Fall!

We started our fall by taking Tyler to the local pumpkin farm to hang out with his best buddies Logan and Preston. They had so much fun running around and seeing everything there was to see. Tyler talked about it for weeks and has even named his pumpkin "pumpkin patch".

The cow train was Tyler's favorite part of the whole trip. "All aboard!"

Tyler Sings the ABC's

Tyler has been talking non-stop lately. His new favorite phrase is "No Way Jose!". It's hilarious. He's been singing all sorts of songs too, "Itsy Bitsy Spider", "5 Little Ducks", "You Are My Sunshine", "Twinkle, Twinkle, Little Star", and "ABC's".

We finally got him to sing his ABC's on video today. What a little smarty pants!

2-Year Pictures

We took Tyler to get his 2-year pictures taken the other day and here are some highlights. Boy is it difficult to get a 2-year old to sit still and where you want him in order to get a great shot! I still can't believe how grown-up he looks in these pictures. He's really not a baby anymore.

What a funny boy

So we were walking through the grocery store the other day and Tyler was being especially naughty. He was picking things out of the basket and throwing them, trying to open them, the usual 2-year old frustrating actions. So this is how our conversation went:

Deanne - "Oh my gosh Tyler, you need to be good!"

Tyler - "Oh my gosh, you need to take a shower!"

Where does he come up with this stuff?!

Birthday Party

Tyler's birthday party was a huge success. Thank you to everyone who was able to come out and celebrate with us! We had it at our local park and surprisingly enough it didn't rain and it didn't get ridiculously hot until we were packing up to leave. Tyler had so much fun with his buddies running around, playing on the playground, the swings, and in the woods. It was a perfect day for my little 2-year old!

Tyler Turns Two

Tyler's 2nd birthday was July 7th. The only thing he specifically asked for was a tricycle after seeing one at the park. He was so excited when Daddy came home from work with one for him. He doesn't push the pedals yet, but scoots around the house pretty well. Happy Birthday baby boy!
