North Myrtle Beach Trip (Part 2)

Cannonball!!!
Tyler loved watching the bigger kids yell and jump into the pool, though he didn't understand what they were saying. The first time he jumped in like this he yelled "Monster!". We had to explain to him they were doing a cannonball and he caught on to the yelling portion, but not the tucking the legs portion.

We had to head to the boardwalk to get some ice cream. Tyler and I shared a bowl...

And Shaun & Tyler shared a cone

We also played some games in the arcade

Shaun and Tyler also went for a ride on the giant SkyWheel. Tyler loved it and didn't mind being up that high at all.

Overall the tripe was great and we had so much fun. We can't wait to do it again!

North Myrtle Beach Trip (Part 1)

This past weekend we took the kids to N. Myrtle Beach. It was so much fun! Tyler is at that age where all these new experiences are so exciting. The first full day there we went to the beach and the kids loved it! Tyler loved boogie boarding, just like his Uncle Jason.

Suited up and ready to ride!

His first wipe out

The wipe out didn't stop him though, he got back on and tried again

Lola seemed to like the beach too

And of course, Shaun had to bury Tyler in the sand. He thought it was pretty cool.

But didn't like getting cleaned up. LOL

Tyler's Birthday Party

We had Tyler's birthday at our local park again. He loves it and it's easy to invite all of his friends. He had so much fun playing and interacting with everyone.

The only thing he really wanted was cake. He told me "I don't want watermelon, I don't want pizza, only cake!" It was difficult keeping him away from it and getting him to eat a little lunch.

And then the time finally came....time for cake.

Then at home he got to open all of his presents. Of course he wanted to open every one right then and there and play with them.

Lola watched in amazement (and drool)

Thank you to everyone who made it out to Tyler's party. He had so much fun!
