Happy Birthday Lola Baby!

Just a post to say Happy Birthday to the sweetest, funniest, smartest, beautiful, red-haired, blue-eyed baby girl I know. One year ago today you came into this world and gave me the gift of having a daughter. Just when I think it's not possible to love you any more, you prove me wrong. I love you baby girl!

Lola isn't walking yet, but she is still a speed demon. And she is a big talker. All of her words aren't perfectly clear, but in context you understand her. I'm going to try to list them out so I can look back and remember later on: Momma, Dada, Kitty, Meow, Dog, Zeus, Woof Woof, Duck, Quack Quack, Trumpets like an elephant, Makes a monkey noise, Shoes, Six, Book, Up, Cookie, Ball, Uh-Oh, Baby, and Thank You.

She also signs milk and all done regularly, has a little trouble with more, but gets it sometimes. She waves "hi" and "bye" and blows kisses. She loves to "read" her books and laugh and laugh at the pictures. Her favorite thing in the world is music and she LOVES to dance and wiggle. She loves her brother and likes to giggle and chase him around the living room. Lola also gives the best hugs. She will pick up her babies and hug them to her face and say "awwww". She is a very sweet, happy baby girl.

Bits & Pieces

Bits & pieces from our year so far...

Tyler has started SoccerTots at a local training center. At this age they just focus on skills and fun drills for the kids. He seems to really like it.

Lately, Tyler ambushes Shaun as soon as he walks in the front door from work and asks to play hide and seek. This particular day he found a very effective hiding spot!

I found this idea online for these adorable Valentines Day cards for the kids in Tyler's class. I thought they turned out really cute!

Lola and Zeus are pretty good buddies. She was laying down next to him playing with his tag. Of course, as soon as I got the camera, she hopped up.

When I went in to get Lola up in the morning I found her channeling her inner Conan O'Brien. She found it hilarious.

Well, we finally got some snow around here. It was really nice. It snowed lightly most of the day and then was completely gone 2 days later. The weather has been crazy here lately.

Lola didn't like going out in the snow much, but she liked watching it fall.
