Tyler turns 6 weeks old on Monday, 8/18/08. This past week he started his 6 week growth spurt and was eating and sleeping a lot. We've started a nighttime ritual - bath, playtime, eating then off to bed. It's supposed to calm him down and help him know it's time to go to sleep for the night. He's been sleeping for about a 4-4 1/2 hour stretch at night, which his mommy really appreciates, then he'll wake up and eat for about 15-20 minutes and go right back to sleep for another 3 hrs.
We went for our first play date the other day. Tyler and his friend Logan met up at the local park and went for a walk. As you can see from the pictures, Tyler totally enjoyed himself - LOL! He also likes it when his cousin Joshua comes over to play.
Tyler is also staying awake for longer periods during the day and is starting to develop a long afternoon nap. He is also smiling a little bit now! It is so cute! But of course, he won't do it for the camera, we only get him kind of smiling, so you'll have to wait a little while for those pictures.
