Worst Blogger Ever!

Ok, OK, I know, I'm the worst blogger ever. It's been forever since I've updated this thing. Let's see, what's been going on the past few months...

Tyler had his first birthday party! We went to the park with some friends and family and he had a really great time. He did pretty well with his cake, mostly ate the frosting, but especially liked cleaning up under the water spicket at the park.

Tyler does so many new things and even says a few words now. He loves for us to read to him and brings us book after book. When we say or point to a penguin, he shakes back and forth like he is waddling. If we say or point to an elephant, he puts his arm in front of his nose like a trunk. He makes the "ooh, ooh, aah, aah" sound for monkey. If he sees a dog or if Zeus barks, he'll bark. He says kitty and meows when he sees a kitty cat. He'll also make a siren sound for a fire engine.

Tyler has a few signs too, he can sign milk, more, eat, and all done. When we ask him to bring us a certain toy, he will go and get the right one and bring it to us, so he understands us pretty well too. It's so much fun to watch him learn and grow.
